Fluffy Dinosaur is screenwriter Tess Meyer’s creative services company. Under this banner, she writes and develops projects with clients and collaborators in the US, Australia, Asia and Europe. Tess’s mission is to dance across mediums and formats to deliver fun and adventure to audiences around the world, whether they’re in a cinema, on the couch, on their phones, or at a theme park! Fluffy Dinosaur offers development and screenwriting services to all storytellers which can be customized to suit the unique needs of each project.

Tess Meyer is a screenwriter working primarily on animated features and TV series. She is currently in Sydney, Australia, working on some exciting new TV projects with partners in Australia, Asia, North America and the UK. In 2021/22 she stepped into the shoes of script co-producer/story editor, co-leading the scripting team on the adventure comedy series '100% Wolf: The Book of Hath' (2023). Tess’ first series as a lead writer, ‘Lil Wild!’ is now streaming on Netflix and MeWatch, and is now in its 3rd season. Her feature film screenwriting debut, Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia released in cinemas in 2022.
Tess works mostly in animation but has been known to travel to the live action world too. She writes characters who either deny basic physics or know waaaaaaay too much about it, have burning life questions, and are generally in over their heads. Tess’ live action work is darker in tone and includes award-wining short films and web series. Her original YA pilot was a semi-finalist in the 2020 Final Draft Big Break competition and is now a finalist in the top 5 pilot scripts in the 2021 Save the Cat Screenplay Challenge. She loves to travel, lived in California for 2 years, and dreams of adopting several dogs.

Surprise! Tess has also featured as a voice actress in two animated feature films and three TV series as well as an award winning VR short film. Her characters have spanned tween-age bullies, motherly British narrators, tenacious Australian journalists, and barbershop singers. Her voice has been described as “ageless”, “energetic” and “authentic” by directors and producers alike. She sings at an above average level and according to all the sound engineers she’s worked with, she laughs with rare authenticity. Ha! Tess is also experienced in casting for feature films and TV series, giving her a unique perspective on creating characters through voice.
